Le renforcement des capacités de l'atelier interne permet d'accroître l'offre de châssis lourds sur mesure destinés aux marchés africains

China’s heavy-truck refurbishment and export sector continues expanding production capacity to meet surging demand from African infrastructure and mining projects. Inside our large-scale manufacturing workshop, multiple heavy-duty truck chassis are under assembly and technical inspection, preparing for overseas shipment.

The workshop is fully equipped with overhead cranes, spare-parts storage racks and dedicated assembly stations. A batch of 6×4 heavy-truck bare chassis are lined up for refurbishment, assembly and quality checks. Each chassis is fitted with heavy-duty off-road tires and large-capacity fuel tanks, configured to adapt to poor road conditions common across Africa. Technicians conduct mechanical assembly, pipeline layout and component debugging strictly following export standards.

African buyers increasingly prefer importing bare truck chassis rather than fully-built complete vehicles. Customers purchase chassis from China and complete body fabrication locally, building dump tippers, water tankers, fuel tankers or flat-bed cargo bodies according to real-world project requirements. This solution effectively cuts overall procurement costs and makes vehicle functions better match local mining, quarrying, road construction and logistics transport needs.

“Many overseas end-users focus on chassis reliability rather than fancy appearances,” said our project manager. “We carry out frame anti-corrosion treatment, axle inspection, braking and steering system testing within our own plant. Every key assembly link is recorded by photos and videos for clients’ review. After workshop acceptance, chassis will be transported to port for bulk shipment.”

Ready stock and custom refurbishment services cover mainstream models including HOWO and Shacman heavy-duty chassis. Bulk-order clients can obtain complete export documentation for customs clearance. With growing infrastructure investment across Africa, demand for cost-effective second-hand and refurbished heavy-truck chassis remains strong in the coming years.

Companies engaged in cross-border heavy-truck exports are upgrading workshop quality-control workflows to reduce after-sales risks for overseas operators, helping African fleets get durable heavy-duty transport equipment.
